Thanks! Yeah, people keep complaining about that but the reason is because it's based off of the Venus Fly Trap and they (I could be wrong.) change red when they absorb some type of light.

Ooh, it's really nice to see the transition. As for the change in color between the evolutions, I personally think that there's almost always a large change between the second and third pokemon of a line, especially a starter line (Ivysaur to Venusaur- BIG difference. Marshtomp to Swampert- BIG difference). I do think that if Fernat's fur color was perhaps slightly darkened or made slightly more red (though in your icon, which appears to be Fernat, I am really enjoying the color), it would really soften the difference that the bright orange parts of Graleo make. I personally like the looks that they all have, but I think that people would find it a little easier to really see the evolution chain, perhaps. In my humble opinion, as well, I think that people are very used to seeing grass-types as green, so I think that if the flower was made larger, or something like that, it would be easier for people to accept it as a fittingly exotic-looking grass-type. And, indeed, I really like it's orange color, so if you consider at all changing its colors, I believe that smaller bits of green, rather than changing the whole thing green, would add more to its "I am the king of the jungle, not just your everyday forest!" image, rather than turning it entirely green and leaf-like, like we've all seen before.

Really, it's awesome to think about a grass pokemon that's finally such an exiting and hear-me-roar color. ^^ I hope that I don't sound very critical, especially since it sounds like you put quite a bit of work into these guys, but it seemed like something that quite a few people have grievances about, so I tried to contribute some ideas for hopefully-painless solutions, if you find you need one. I hope you find my words useful.

But I can't say only that, can I? I like the entire line. ^^ They really fit their parts well. If I were to see them individually, it's really easy to see them as whatever place in the line they are. They're cute, too, and look really tough. If I had to choose a starting pokemon, they would be an awful tempting option.

Those are my thoughts! I hope the painfully long comment was not too much. xD Haha, they really do look like genuine pokemon, don't they... I think I'll just mosey on over to the +fav button and end this comment with the word "butter."

Thanks tons for the criticism! I always wondered what he'd look like with one of his red leaves on his back being green to mix it up and I plan on changing the flower to be less girly sometime soon. Thanks again for your comment.
