Hey, yeah, I really like this guy. He's another cutie. X3 And yay for improvement, it shows! : D

I have a few things to suggest about his back foot. I do think his toes could stand to be a bit shorter, but probably not too much. Also, I'm not sure how exactly it would look, but it might be worth trying to make it look more like he's supporting his weight with his toes, rather than with his whole foot, depending on what look you're going for for him. That is to say, I think it looks that way already, but it might look better to make it more apparent.

There's really nothing else I can find to criticize in this, I like it a lot. But actually, even though it's completely unrelated to the art, I thought I should share my thoughts on the name. I don't know if it would be a big deal or anything, so hopefully it's not just a bother to hear it, but "Flamdra" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue for me, so it makes the pun a lot more obvious. Something more like "Flamidra" (though that kind of sounds... disgusting... o___o) is a little easier to say, and easier to not have to think about the pun while saying it, which I like in a lot of Pokemon's names. (Though a lot of the puns were terrible in the fourth-gen pokemon... Oo buneary? purugly?)

XD Agh, but he's so cute! It just screams "Pick me, pick me!" but still looks like it'll kick ass in its evolutions. >;)

I thought in comparison to the other foot that his back toes were too short. =o

And yeah, he is standing on his toes which is supposed to make him look raised up. It's just a little hard to make it look that way with no back ground.

As for the name, yeah it's a little wierd to me too. Sometimes I nickname him Flemdra for fun but he's been Flamdra (Actually pronounced Flame-Dra but I still call him Flamdra.) for two years and it's one of those things that although I hate it I won't try to change just like how Dionaet should be Dionate but I don't change it for some odd reason.

Really? Hmm... I don't see a whole lot of lizard-like things or anything, so I guess I wouldn't know, but I *think* I'm more used to seeing spread-out back toes, too. I don't think I'm really suggesting it, but it's something to think about, I guess. XD Also, I think that smaller toes add to the cute part of it, which is always a big part of starter pokemon. XP Though it's already adorable anyway, so you don't exactly have to do anything to make it cuter, haha.

I know, the standing-on-toes thing can be hard to do. It's at least probably easier to do with something that has paws, so I dunno about what exactly to do with this guy. XD

Yeah, I know what you mean. Since I've heard its name a few times, I'm pretty used to it, but I figured I'd mentioned it anyway.
